Four loose wheels of the same diameter, matched to tape size, are stacked upon one another, flange side up. The machined surface of each wheel is protected by a pair of spacers consisting of 4″ x 4″ boards or made from two 2″ x 4″ boards nailed together and placed on either side of the bore openings between the first, second and third loose wheels for a total of six per package. The stack of wheels is stabilized by inserting a block of wood or two 2″ x 4″ boards nailed together into the bore openings. A .50″ x 10 x 10″ plywood end cap is nailed to the top of the stabilizing block in order to keep it from falling through the loose wheels when they are being handled. Other sizes included are 4B, 4C, and 4D.
