Description:
U-Tubes are individually packaged in specially designed wooden crates with outer dimensions (OD) of 32.25″ x 22.25″ x 24.25″. In order to stabilize the U-Tube, two L-shaped cradles made of a 2″ x 6″ x 19.5″ and a 2″ x 4″ x 19.5″ are placed together on edge inside the crate. The crate is constructed of plywood and framed with 1″ x 4″ lumber. Three 3″ x 4″ runners are applied to the outside bottom of the crate. After the U-Tube has been put into the crate on the cradles, a 2″ x 4″ x 19.5″ board is placed inside and over the U-Tube and is attached to the side walls of the crate. This will provide integrity to the package.
