Packaging Standards

A four-way, 42″ x 48″ pallet is used. Water-resistant, 500 lb. Test strength, double wall corrugated tubes with lids are specified as well. The tube is stapled to the deck of the pallet.
The shoes are to be layered 4 x 18 and are stacked up to four layers per package. Four non-metallic 7/16″ bands are used to secure each row of shoes inside the package. Two non-metallic 7/16″ bands secure the package to the pallet. The numeric package quantity is to be clearly noted on the four sides of the tube and on the opposite corners of the lid.
