Packaging Standards

Six handbrakes are placed face up on a pallet in two rows of three per row. The gear portion of each handbrake faces outward. Two additional handbrakes are placed face down, in opposite directions in the center of the pallet for a total of eight. The brake levers must not extend beyond the perimeter of the pallet and the chains must be taut and secured to the lever by either looping the trailing link over it or by attaching it with a twist tie. The handbrake fasteners must be placed in a bag and be attached to each handbrake.
The handbrakes are secured to the pallet with stretch wrap. Steel bands are not required.
